Isolation valves either side, so the sleeve can be serviced without draining the house. Often a flow restrictor, where the supply could exceed the chamber's rating. And a solenoid shut off valve if nobody would act on an alarm, which is the case in most households.

What it costs to keep running

A lamp every year regardless of whether it still glows, because output fades long before the light does. A sleeve o-ring at the same visit. The pretreatment cartridges on their own schedule, which is usually the larger ongoing cost. And periodic laboratory testing, because the system produces no evidence of its own success. The EPA notes private wells are not federally regulated under the Safe Drinking Water Act, so nobody else is checking whether it works.

Look for a stated dose at that flow, ideally from independent validation, rather than a wattage figure.
